Targeted Supplementary Feeding Program for Malnourished Children

World Concern and its partner are targeting malnourished children in this supplementary feeding program to manage moderate acute malnutrition (MAM) in children ages 6-59 months and malnourished pregnant and lactating women. The population of Rohingya refugees that fled across the border from Myanmar into Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh are densely packed into camps on insufficient land. Congestion across the camps and lack of access to services is causing high rates of disease and contributing to the already high rates of malnutrition present in the population. This program aims to decrease preventable death and illness from malnutrition among the Rohingya refugee and host population in the targeted settlement zones.
