Emergency Response to COVID-19 in Cox’s Bazar
The overall objective of the project is to prevent/reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission in the Rohingya camps and host communities and support those negatively impacted by the socio-economic effects of the pandemic. There are three outcomes covering the WASH, Livelihoods and Protection sectors. In WASH, the project promotes hygiene activities, including handwashing and household hygiene kits. In Livelihoods, the project offers training and cash grants for income-generating activities such as raising livestock and developing small businesses. In Protection, the project conducts community awareness sessions, including child marriage and the risks of trafficking.
